Job summary

Ghanda Clothing in Darwin, NT is hiring a Retail Store Manager to lead the #GhandaGang as our new store opens in September. You’ll be responsible for coaching a team, delivering great customer service, and upholding our visual standards on the shop floor.

The role offers a 38-hour week with pay for hours worked, overtime penalties if necessary, clothing and phone allowances, a monthly bonus scheme, and unlimited clothing discounts for you and your family.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Customer-first mindset with strong fundamentals in retail.
• Experience in retail/hospitality is valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching & training a team of up to 15 team members.
• Driving Ghanda values with the store team.
• Maintaining a high standard of store presentation per visual guidelines.
• Liaising with Stock Allocator and managing stock levels to maximise floor space.
• Preparing and monitoring store rosters, sales reports and compliance.

A day in the life

As a RETAIL STORE MANAGER, you will have direct responsibility for:

• Leading, coaching & training a team of up to 15 team members
• Driving the Ghanda values with your store team
• Maintaining a high standard of store presentation in line with our visual merchandising guidelines and brand direction
• Liaising with your Stock Allocator, as well as working independently, to maintain appropriate stock levels throughout the store to maximise return on floor space
• Preparing and monitoring: store rosters, sales reports & store/team compliance
