Job summary

Airnorth is seeking an experienced Network Operations Duty Manager to lead the Network Operations Centre in Perth, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. This hands-on role focuses on safety, on-time performance, disruption management and customer outcomes while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day flying operations, manage rosters and staffing, and act as the primary operational contact for charter clients, with occasional after-hours

Qualifications

• Experience in airline operations or network operations management.
• Proven leadership of teams in fast-paced, operational environments.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations and fatigue management.
• Ability to make sound decisions with limited information.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Network Operations Centre.
• Coordinate responses to delays, disruptions and unplanned events.
• Make timely decisions balancing safety, compliance, cost and customer impact.
• Lead and allocate work across the Network Operations team.
• Manage rostering, leave, timesheets and staffing coverage.
• Provide relief coverage as needed for supervision or control.
• Oversee crew rostering and regulatory compliance for flights.
• Liaise with Flight Operations, Engineering and other teams.
• Coordinate charter, wet lease and regular passenger transport operations.
• Monitor on-time performance and drive improvement initiatives.
