Job summary

East Gippsland Water is seeking a Coordinator Network Operations to oversee the safe, reliable and efficient operation of our water and wastewater networks. You will monitor performance using SCADA, EAM and GIS, coordinate investigations, and lead improvement plans in collaboration with field crews and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating network operations and field teams.
• Familiarity with SCADA, EAM and GIS systems.
• Ability to monitor, investigate and respond to network incidents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor water and wastewater network performance using operational data and systems.
• Identify reliability, pressure, flow, pump station and water quality issues.
• Develop and coordinate network optimisation and improvement initiatives.
• Lead investigations into network, customer and operational performance issues.
• Translate findings into maintenance activities and corrective actions.
• Analyse trends and support continuous improvement of network operations.
• Coordinate water quality sampling, field testing and follow-up actions.
• Manage responses to water quality issues, complaints and operational events.
• Oversee disinfection site checks, compliance activities and record keeping.
• Maintain accurate records, work orders and operational data in EAM.
• Support business continuity planning, testing and operational preparedness.
• Coordinate planned and unplanned service disruption response activities.
• Provide leadership, guidance and support to Operator Networks and field crews.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders.
• Promote safety, compliance, EGW values, training and a positive team culture.
