Job summary

• Well-developed stakeholder engagement, communication and report-writing skills across multiple agencies and communities.

In this role, you’ll:

Working within Transport’s Network Management and Development team, you’ll lead the development of transport, road safety and network improvement initiatives across some of Sydney’s most complex and dynamic precincts.

Working at the Centre of transport decision-making, you’ll balance road safety, network performance, public transport, active transport, freight, land use and community needs while helping shape the future operation and development of Sydney’s transport network.

You’ll apply your traffic engineering, transport planning and road safety expertise to investigate complex network issues, assess transport impacts, develop business cases and influence projects that improve safety, efficiency and customer outcomes.

You’ll work collaboratively with councils, developers, government agencies and communities to deliver practical, evidence-based solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to combine technical expertise with stakeholder engagement, project development and strategic decision-making while influencing one of Australia’s largest and most complex transport networks.

About You

You will bring:

• Experience in road network planning, traffic and transport impact assessment, network management or road safety program development.
