Charter Diligence is seeking an experienced .NET Software Engineer for a Federal Government project. You will develop Azure-based web APIs and portal applications within an Agile team, delivering secure, scalable solutions and modernising legacy systems into cloud environments.

Key focus areas include .NET technologies, Angular/React front-ends, and Azure services. The role requires Baseline Security Clearance and Australian working rights, with a hybrid onsite arrangement in ACT and ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing secure web-based applications using .NET technologies.
• Strong experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET and Web APIs.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure services (API Manager, Logic Apps, SQL, Service Bus).
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD, repositories, and deployments.
• Familiarity with integrating systems including Dynamics 365 and third-party platforms.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and ISM compliance.
• Experience with testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, Selenium, Playwright).
• Must be able to obtain Baseline Security Clearance and have Australian working rights.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced .NET Software Engineer to support the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing web applications within a Federal Government environment. This role will focus on developing and enhancing Azure-based platforms, supporting both existing regulatory systems and new digital initiatives. You will work within an Agile, cross-functional team to deliver end-to-end solutions, contributing to system design, development, integration, and continuous improvement.

Position: .NET Software Engineer – $800–$1,200/day + super Location: ACT (Onsite) Working Arrangement: Hybrid Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 months + Extension

About You
