Job summary

Ncs Australia seeks an experienced Full Stack .NET Developer for a Canberra-based contract to modernise enterprise systems. You will design, develop, test, deploy and support applications using .NET 8 APIs, React, SQL Server, SSIS and PBIRS, including migrating VB6 functionality to .NET.

You will implement scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and Git, collaborating with BAs, architects, testers and vendors across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Full Stack .NET development.
• Experience developing enterprise applications using React.js, ASP.NET Core and SQL Server.
• Experience building SSIS packages for large-scale data migration and integration projects.
• Demonstrated REST API design and development experience.
• Strong database performance optimisation skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack .NET Developer to contribute to a major technology modernisation project in Canberra. You will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, testing, deploying and supporting enterprise applications and integration solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies. A key component of the role will involve modernising existing legacy VB6 functionality and transitioning it to contemporary .NET solutions. The technology environment includes .NET 8 APIs, React, SQL Server, SSIS and Power BI Report Server (PBIRS), providing an opportunity to work across the full application lifecycle and technology stack.
