Job summary

Specialist Support Solutions Pty Ltd in Rockhampton, QLD is seeking compassionate Support Workers for casual roles across Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Emu Park, Mount Morgan, Gracemere and Westwood. You will help people with disability with personal care, routines, and community access, following individual plans and keeping clear records.

Availability of 20 hours+, weekdays to weekends, including sleepovers. Training and upskilling opportunities, consistent rostered hours, with view to permanent

Qualifications

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Blue Card.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Police Clearance.
• Driver’s licence and a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Modules.
• The right to work in Australia.
• At least 20 hours of flexible availability

Responsibilities

• Support people with disability with personal care, daily routines, medication assistance and community access, following individual support plans and maintaining clear records.
• Provide care with manual handling, behaviour support, enteral nutrition and PEG feeding, and seizure management as required.
• Be a reliable, respectful member of the team and adapt to participant needs across shifts.
