Endeavour Foundation in Rockhampton, QLD, is seeking casual Disability Support Workers to assist people with complex disability support needs across the region. You will work with person-centred plans, PBSPs and a flexible schedule to deliver meaningful care and community participation.

The role emphasizes safety, dignity and independence, with shifts including evenings/weekends and occasional sleepovers. Relevant qualifications and solid documentation are essential for success.

Qualificações

• Experience supporting people with disability and complex support needs.
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or related qualification is advantageous.
• Experience with behaviours of concern.
• Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
• Confidence supporting personal care and daily living activities.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide person-centred support to people with complex disability needs.
• Follow individual support plans and PBSPs.
• Respond calmly to behaviours of concern using agreed strategies.
• Help people build independence and daily living skills.
• Assist with personal care, manual handling and medication support as needed.
• Support participation in community, recreational and social activities.
• Build positive relationships that promote choice, dignity and inclusion.
• Complete progress notes, incident reports and required records.
