Job summary

Choices & Rights Pty Ltd on the Sunshine Coast seeks an experienced NDIS Support Coordinator to lead a portfolio of clients, families and support workers. The role emphasises client choice, high-quality services, and strong leadership in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate a team, manage enquiries and ensure safe, compliant service delivery while driving growth through stakeholder engagement and business development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • NDIS Operational Guidelines knowledge required or highly beneficial.
  • Preferred tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience working with clients, families and carers to build capacity.
  • Knowledge of case management principles and best practices.
  • Proven track record managing teams and service delivery.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, policies and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to monitor, measure and report on outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and data management.
  • Effective time management and task prioritisation.
  • Knowledge of NDIS Act 2013 and Disability Act 2006.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the support service delivery team to achieve positive client outcomes.
  • Act as the primary contact for participants, families and stakeholders.
  • Manage client enquiries, complaints and feedback.
  • Oversee day-to-day NDIS services and business operations.
  • Ensure services are delivered safely and to a high standard.
  • Coordinate recruitment, workforce planning and scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and systems.
  • Drive business growth through client engagement and referrals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate NDIS services.
  • Monitor industry trends and identify development opportunities.
  • Complete duties/projects as directed by Director/GM.
  • Participate in an on-call roster every four weeks.
  • Provide on-the-floor support when required.
  • Attend weekly team meetings in Logan Central.

Our services include Supported Independent Living, In-Home Support, Community Access, and Capacity Building.

We are currently seeking an experienced NDIS Support coordinator to join our growing team on the Sunshine Coast. This is an exciting opportunity to support and implement meaningful change for people living with a disability.

About the Role

As the primary contact for a portfolio of NDIS clients, their families, and a team of support workers, the Support coordinator plays a key role in ensuring high-quality, individualised services that promote client choice and control.

This is a fast-paced role within a rapidly growing organisation and requires someone with excellent communication skills, high energy, and strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the support service delivery team to achieve positive client outcomes
  • Act as the primary point of contact for participants, families, and stakeholders
  • Manage client enquiries, complaints, and feedback
  • Oversee day-to-day NDIS services and business operations
  • Ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
  • Coordinate recruitment, workforce planning, and scheduling of support workers
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and systems
  • Drive business growth through engagement with warm and cold leads
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate NDIS services
  • Monitor industry trends and identify business development opportunities
  • Complete additional duties/projects as directed by the Director/GM
  • Participate in an on-call roster (every four weeks)
  • Provide on-the-floor support when required
  • Attend weekly team meetings in Logan Central

Skills and Experience

To be successful, you will have:

  • Strong knowledge of NDIS Operational Guidelines
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferred) or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience working with clients, families, and carers to build capacity
  • Knowledge of case management principles
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams and service delivery
  • Understanding of compliance, policies, and procedures

  • Competence with computer systems and data management
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
  • Knowledge of the NDIS Act 2013, Disability Act 2006, and relevant legislation
