Job summary

Riise Australia, a Ballarat-based NDIS provider, seeks an Operations and Compliance Manager to lead quality and compliance across services and to prepare for the next external audit scheduled for February 2027. You will embed policies and systems, oversee incidents and continuous improvement, and shape the team structure during growth.

The role covers SIL, SDA and home care, with a focus on rostering, reporting, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality, compliance or operations management within the NDIS or disability sector.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders and the Director.
• Tertiary qualification in disability, community services, health, business or related field.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience with Shiftcare or similar rostering/client management systems.
• Proven ability to lead and develop operational staff during growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality and compliance across services, aligning with NDIS standards.
• Plan for and manage the organisation’s next external audit.
• Develop, review and embed policies, procedures and systems.
• Oversee incident reporting, complaints and continuous improvement.
• Manage day-to-day operations across SIL, SDA and home care services.
• Lead, supervise and develop staff including performance management.
• Support Shiftcare reimplementation and rostering/reporting.
• Build relationships with coordinators, participants, families and stakeholders.
• Provide operational reporting and recommendations to the Director.
