Job summary

Contract Care is seeking a compassionate NDIS Support Worker to assist a young participant in Casino, NSW. You will provide personal care, daily living support and medication prompts in alignment with the participant's NDIS plan.

You will also help with community access, transport, appointments and social activities, following participant plans and house routines. Safe manual handling, shift documentation, and collaboration with families and professionals are essential.

Qualifications

Cert III or Cert IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent plus at least 6 months paid experience supporting people with disability.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain before first shift).
Australian work rights and smartphone required for shift bookings, timesheets and shift notes.

Responsibilities

Support participants with personal care, daily living tasks, meal prep and medication prompting in line with their NDIS plan.
Assist with community access, transport, appointments, social and recreational activities.
Follow participant-centred support plans, behaviour support plans and house routines.
Use safe manual handling techniques including hoists, slings and transfers where required.
Document shift notes, incidents and progress against goals in the provider's system.
Work respectfully alongside families, support coordinators and allied health professionals.
