Job summary

Contract Care is seeking a compassionate NDIS Support Worker to assist a young participant in Casino, NSW. You will provide personal care, daily living support and medication prompts in alignment with the participant's NDIS plan.

You will also help with community access, transport, appointments and social activities, following participant plans and house routines. Safe manual handling, shift documentation, and collaboration with families and professionals are essential.

Qualifications

• Cert III or Cert IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent plus at least 6 months paid experience supporting people with disability.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain before first shift).
• Australian work rights and smartphone required for shift bookings, timesheets and shift notes.

Responsibilities

What you'll need

• ONE of the following: Cert III or Cert IV in Individual Support (Disability), Disability, Community Services, Mental Health, Ageing Support, or equivalent - PLUS at least 6 months paid experience supporting people with disability
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain before first shift)
• Manual handling competency (hoists, slings, transfers)
• Australian work rights and a smartphone for shift bookings, timesheets and shift notes
• Full Australian driver's license and comprehensively insured car
