Job summary

Locale, a VESI/VEDN accredited civil contractor in Melbourne, is seeking an NDD Operator to support civil construction across Greater Melbourne. You will apply your vacuum excavation and service locating expertise to deliver works that meet VEDN standards.

Daily duties include following the Site Supervisor's task schedule, performing routine plant maintenance, attending approved training, and planning your time to hit targets.

Qualifications

• Experienced in operating an NDD Combo Truck.
• Holder of appropriate tickets, licenses and VESI/VEDN accreditation.
• Safety‑minded attitude.
• Own transport to and from job sites.
• Team‑player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Site Supervisor's daily task schedule and complete tasks efficiently and on time.
• Carry out routine maintenance of plant and ensure it is fueled and ready for the next day.
• Attend training programs approved by senior management.
• Plan, organise and manage own time to meet targets within a set timetable.

The role:

As an NDD Operator with Locale, you will support civil construction projects across Greater Melbourne, using your vacuum excavation and service locating expertise to deliver works that comply with VEDN standards.

Your every day:

• Ensure that the schedule of tasks assigned by the Site Supervisor daily are undertaken efficiently and in a timely manner
• Carry out routine maintenance of plant and ensure that it is fuelled and ready to operate the next day before leaving work each day
• Attend relevant training programs approved by senior management.
• Ability to effectively plan, organise and manage own time to achieve targets within a set timetable
