Job summary

Locale is seeking an NDD Operator to support civil projects across Greater Melbourne, applying vacuum excavation and service locating expertise to deliver compliant works.

You will keep NDD equipment ready for the next day, follow Site Supervisor directions, and participate in senior-approved trainings while maintaining a safety-forward approach.

Qualifications

• Experience operating an NDD Combo Truck.
• Hold appropriate tickets, licenses and VESI/VEDN accreditation.
• Safety-oriented working attitude.
• Own transport to and from job sites.
• Team-player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Undertake daily tasks scheduled by the Site Supervisor.
• Maintain NDD equipment and ensure fuel and readiness for the next day.
• Attend training programs approved by senior management.
• Plan and manage time to meet targets within the timetable.

The role:

As an NDD Operator with Locale, you will support civil construction projects across Greater Melbourne, using your vacuum excavation and service locating expertise to deliver works that comply with VEDN standards.

Your every day:

• Ensure that the schedule of tasks assigned by the Site Supervisor daily are undertaken efficiently and in a timely manner


• Carry out routine maintenance of plant and ensure that it is fuelled and ready to operate the next day before leaving work each day


• Attend relevant training programs approved by senior management.


• Ability to effectively plan, organise and manage own time to achieve targets within a set timetable
