Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) invites an accomplished research leader to establish and head the National TAFE Educator-Led Research and Praxis Centre. The Lead will set strategic direction, oversee governance, milestones, budget and reporting, and drive cross-jurisdictional collaboration with TAFEs, universities and sector bodies.

The role requires a doctoral qualification and a track record of research leadership, with strong understanding of ethics governance and NHMRC/hREC

Qualifications

• Postgraduate or doctoral qualification in adult education or related field.
• Experience leading educator-led research in VET or education.
• Experience establishing or holding membership on a Human Research Ethics Committee.

Responsabilités

• Set strategic direction and oversee the Centre's governance, milestones, budget and reporting.
• Build cross-jurisdictional partnerships with TAFEs, universities and sector bodies.
• Ensure ethical foundation and NHMRC registration for the HREC.
• Lead dissemination and quality of the Centre's research.
• Collaborate with the Research and Capability Manager on day-to-day delivery.
