Job summary

Presbyterian Ladies’ College Melbourne seeks an inaugural Head of the Centre for Innovation & Research to establish its research program, operating model, and partnerships. The role connects educational inquiry with student and staff experience from ELC to Year 12, guiding coaching, staff development, and the translation of research into classroom practice.

Qualifications

• Education degree qualifications and VIT registration or eligibility.
• Postgraduate qualifications in education, research or related field expected.
• Doctoral qualifications or substantial educational research experience highly regarded.
• Appointments subject to National Police Check and required compliance training and certification.

Responsibilities

• Establish the Centre for Innovation and Research and shape its research agenda, operating model, team and partnerships.
• Translate research into classroom practice and connect educational inquiry with everyday learning.
• Lead digital learning and AI initiatives and strengthen staff inquiry and coaching across PLC.
• Collaborate with university and professional partners and support staff to share expertise.
• Uphold PLC’s Christian ethos, values and inclusive culture in all activities.
