Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is seeking an experienced Educator Level 2 to join our Training and Education (TAE) team. The successful applicant will design, deliver and assess TAE qualifications, develop learning resources and support staff in best-practice teaching.

They will also maintain compliant student records, contribute to program development and collaborate with industry to strengthen teaching capability and learner outcomes.

Formación

• Hold Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116, TAE40122 or equivalent).
• Hold Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (TAE50122 or equivalent).
• Hold relevant vocational qualifications and industry experience appropriate to the qualifications being delivered.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deliver and assess TAE qualifications and skill sets using flexible, innovative and blended learning approaches.
• Develop, review and maintain high-quality learning resources and assessment tools aligned to training package requirements, contemporary industry practice and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership, advice and support to CIT Educators and stakeholders on teaching, learning, assessment and educational practice.
• Support learner-centred, evidence-based educational approaches that promote student success and engagement.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training products, assessment systems and quality assurance processes.
• Support Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) activities and provide guidance on assessment and evidence requirements.
• Maintain accurate and compliant student records and ensure reporting requirements are met.
• Work collaboratively with industry, Educators, students and stakeholders to support workforce capability and educational outcomes.
• Assist the Head of Department with the coordination and delivery of programs, projects and initiatives that strengthen teaching capability.
• Model professional practice, contribute to team culture and support innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement within the department.
