Job summary

The Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is seeking a detail‑oriented Project Officer to support nationally significant initiatives in Australia's vocational education sector. Based in Canberra, you will provide governance, coordination and operational support across National TAFE Network programs hosted by CIT.

Responsibilities include secretariat services, stakeholder coordination, reporting, recruitment and procurement, and general project administration to keep delivery on track.

Qualifications

• Experience providing project governance, executive support or secretariat services.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain high‑quality governance processes.
• Experience supporting recruitment, procurement, events or stakeholder engagement activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide project governance and secretariat support for national initiatives.
• Coordinate activities across National TAFE Network projects and with CIT stakeholders.
• Support reporting, recruitment, procurement and general project administration.
