Job summary

DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator for a Federal Government client in the Technology Services Division to deliver accessible digital and cloud services for Participants and Providers.

You’ll bring your Salesforce expertise to a dynamic, fast-paced team supporting a major program of work across industry-leading technologies and collaborating with Developers, Testers, Project Managers, Cyber Security, Architects and Business Analysts.

Qualifications

• Certified Salesforce Administrator with a minimum of 2 years’ experience within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Salesforce product knowledge, and a strong understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules).
• Experience in Data Loader, Service Cloud and other Salesforce tools.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and vendor partners for troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Strong documentation and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Salesforce environment plans.
• Execute hands-on critical and complex Salesforce administration tasks to support releases, CI/CD and new projects and environment changes.
• Ensure standards and support processes are continually reviewed and improved.
• Seek out automation opportunities for improved management of the Salesforce landscape.
• Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and work with internal teams and vendor partners to resolve them.
• Develop environment and code management plans to support Release plans to deploy projects and BAU fixes into Production.
• Manage support tickets with Salesforce & maintain platform security.
• Ensure documentation on processes, policies, and configuration is developed and maintained.
• Evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users.
• Assign work activities, mentor and provide support to the environments team.
• Provide support for Salesforce projects and work with team members including Developers, Testers, Project Managers, Cyber Security, Architects and Business Analysts
