Job summary

APEX is seeking a National Recruiter to own end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar and trades roles across multiple sites nationally, based out of a new office south of the River in Perth. You will partner with operational leaders, manage the full lifecycle from briefing to mobilisation, and build a strong talent pipeline for critical trades.

The role requires experience recruiting blue-collar trades, high-volume requisitions, and solid stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting blue-collar trades, ideally in mining/energy/resources.
• Ability to manage high-volume requisitions across multiple sites nationwide.
• Strong stakeholder management with operational leaders.
• Proficient use of ATS to manage pipelines and reporting.

Our client is a well-established operator in the mining, energy and resources sector with a national footprint. As part of an internal restructure, they're looking for a National Recruiter to own end-to-end recruitment for their blue-collar and trades workforce across multiple sites based out of their new office South of the River.

About the role

This is a genuine internal recruitment position, working closely with operational leaders to resource critical trades roles nationally. You'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle — from job briefing and sourcing through to offer and mobilisation — while building a strong talent pipeline across the industry.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for blue-collar and trades roles (auto electrical, mechanical fitting, heavy diesel, and related trades) across multiple sites nationally
• Partner with operational and site leaders to understand workforce demand and hiring priorities
• Build and maintain a strong, proactive candidate pipeline for hard-to-fill trades
• Coordinate pre-employment and compliance requirements, including medicals and site inductions
• Provide market insights and hiring advice to internal stakeholders

About you

• Proven experience recruiting blue-collar trades, ideally within mining, energy & resources.
• Comfortable managing high-volume requisitions across multiple locations
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust with operational leaders
• Confident using an ATS to manage pipelines and reporting
