Job summary

Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union (AMWU) is seeking a National Systems & IT Officer to administer, optimise and develop the Union’s systems including iMIS. You will work across the organisation to strengthen data governance, deliver reporting and analytics, and implement technology solutions that add operational value.

Qualifications

• Experience administering and supporting operational systems, especially iMIS.
• Ability to analyse and improve business processes using technology.
• Experience managing organisational data, quality governance and reporting.
• Experience coordinating technology across an organisation.
• Knowledge of application configuration, user access and security.
• Understanding of system integrations and data exchange.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure and improve the Union's operational systems (iMIS focus).
• Manage upgrades, testing and system enhancements to meet needs.
• Maintain system documentation and monitor performance.
• Design improvements and promote data governance practices.
• Develop reporting efficiencies and operational dashboards.
• Support data migration, cleansing and advanced user support.
• Collaborate on system projects with vendors and staff.
