Job summary

Direct Freight Express Pty seeks a National HR Advisor to support growth and manage HR/ER responsibilities across the business. The role reports to the Human Resource Manager and is based in Warwick Farm, NSW 2170, with full-time employment.

Key duties include advising on industrial relations, policy development, performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee well-being. Strong knowledge of Fair Work and Awards is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a Human Resources or Employee Relations role.
• Experience in Manufacturing/Blue Collar/Warehousing/Logistics/Transport industry is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Sound understanding of Fair Work legislation and Awards.
• Strategic thinking with an operational, hands-on approach.
• Proven ability to coach leaders and influence decisions.
• Current and valid drivers' licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain industrial relations compliance and advise on changes and award interpretation.
• Develop, review, and maintain HR policies ensuring compliance and awareness.
• Advise leaders on performance management and development with legal considerations.
• Conduct disciplinary, performance, misconduct, and grievance processes.
• Promote policy adherence and facilitate positive workplace relations.
• Manage annual leave balances within policy thresholds.
• Provide counselling support and dispute resolution guidance to management.
• Support change management and continuous improvement projects.
