Job summary

Silvans Facility Services is seeking a National Operations Manager to lead the cleaning and soft services across ANZ from Westmeadows, VIC. You will oversee Client Service Managers, monitor KPI performance, and ensure service excellence for client sites nationwide.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in operations management within cleaning/facilities, strong leadership, and a systematic, safety-focused approach. Excellent stakeholder engagement and a drive for quality will be essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar operational management role within the cleaning or facility management industry.
• Strong leadership and people management skills to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities to juggle multiple client sites and staff schedules.
• Systematic approach in managing department performance.
• Exceptional knowledge in OHS, safety, environment and quality management systems.
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to providing exceptional client service.
• Practical cleaning experience and knowledge of industry best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Relevant qualifications in cleaning, facilities management or a related field would be highly regarded.
• Australian work rights are required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Client Service Managers to ensure all client sites (Australian-wide and NZ) are serviced to the highest standard.
• Oversee the KPI of our Soft Services Department which includes cleaning, security, pest control, ground maintenance and hygiene services.
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with our services.
• Meet with clients on a high level basis to update on contract performance.
• Manage contractors compliance and performance where needed.
• Manage incidents, accidents and non-conformance records.
• Assist with internal and external auditing process.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes to maintain service excellence.
• Prepare reports and KPI tracking to demonstrate service delivery and identify areas for improvement.
