Job summary

Healthcare Professionals Group (HPG) is seeking a senior leader to take ownership of the national contracting function. You will oversee the end-to-end contractor lifecycle, advising on Modern Awards and labour hire compliance while supporting consultants to grow temporary business.

You'll work closely with senior leadership to drive growth, build strong relationships with clients and contractors, and ensure robust compliance across systems and processes in a collaborative, high-performing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (essential).
• Experience in recruitment agency environment, temporary/contract/labour hire is required.
• Strong knowledge of Modern Awards, employment classifications and labour hire legislation.
• Proven track record managing end-to-end contracting operations within an agency.
• Strong commercial acumen with pricing, margins, and contractor engagement experience.
• Relationship-led approach with clients and contractors by phone and in person.
• Commercial curiosity with ability to identify leads through everyday conversations.
• Strong operational mindset with experience improving systems and processes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Analytical capability with data and commercial information.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of HPG's national contracting function.
• Manage end-to-end contractor lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
• Provide expert advice on Modern Awards and labour hire compliance.
• Support consultants with award interpretation, pricing, margins and engagement.
• Build proactive relationships with clients and contractors via phone and in-person meetings.
• Conduct onsite client and contractor visits, including WHS assessments.
• Identify leads and opportunities through daily interactions.
• Drive continuous improvement across contracting systems and processes.
• Partner with Directors and consultants to grow contracting and payroll solutions.
