Job summary

Local Building Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator for a specialist commercial builder delivering technically complex projects across Health, Data Centres and Commercial sectors with national operations.

You will lead procurement, forecasting, variations, client negotiations and final close-out, working closely with PMs and the wider project team. This role suits a senior CA with strong head contractor experience and a proactive, commercial mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with large ($50m+) or technically complex commercial projects.
• Strong procurement and contract administration skills.
• Ability to identify risk early and liaise with PM and client.

Responsibilities

• Manage project financials, forecasting and cost reporting.
• Develop procurement strategies and drive subcontractor letting.
• Prepare, negotiate and administer subcontract packages.
• Manage variations, claims and commercial risk.
• Identify head contract scope changes and negotiate with the client.
• Maintain relationships across clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Support and develop junior members of the commercial team.
• Take the project commercially through to completion and close-out.
