Job summary

Agricultural Appointments seeks a commercially minded Business Development Manager to drive growth nationwide in pest management, agriculture, and related sectors. You will develop new markets, expand key accounts, and build strategic partnerships across government bodies, councils and distributors, with the autonomy to shape your own pipeline.

Brisbane-based with hybrid flexibility and national travel, the role offers a competitive salary, superannuation, a company car and a bonus of up to 20%

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B or technical sales, or key account management.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and a track record of growing sales.
• Knowledge of pest management, pesticides or monitoring and control technologies; agriculture/environmental health background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities for sustainable growth.
• Build relationships with councils, government agencies and contractors in mosquito/vector management.
• Grow national key accounts, reseller networks, online retail and distribution channels.
• Identify new markets, applications and opportunities for existing and new products.
• Develop sales plans, forecasts and account strategies; contribute to product launches and marketing campaigns.
• Represent the business at customer meetings and industry events, travelling nationally as required.
