Job summary

Grant Thornton Australia is seeking a National Audit Learning Manager to lead technical learning across our national Audit practice. You will refresh content, translate complex technical requirements into practical training, and facilitate engaging sessions for staff from Graduate to Partner levels.

You’ll work with the Head of Learning—Audit and SMEs to ensure materials stay current with auditing standards and regulatory developments. Interstate travel to GT offices across Australia is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' external audit experience in a professional services environment.
• Strong working knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
• Ability to translate complex audit concepts into practical training content.
• Experience coaching, facilitating, and delivering technical training.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and refresh technical Audit learning content, ensuring materials remain relevant and technically accurate.
• Collaborate with Head of Learning—Audit and SMEs to incorporate auditing standards, accounting standards, regulatory developments and methodologies into blended learning programs.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical and engaging learning content.
• Facilitate technical learning sessions nationally for Audit professionals across different levels of experience, from Graduate to Partner.
• Develop learning materials for digital learning and live learning programs (presentations, facilitator guides, scripts, videos, case studies).
• Support onboarding and induction programs for new Audit team members.
