Job summary

Gough Recruitment represents a privately owned property group seeking a National Asset Manager to establish and lead its national asset management function across retail, office, industrial and residential assets with a strong office component. You will report to the CEO and join the Executive Leadership Team to drive performance.

You will develop asset management strategy, oversee leasing, capital expenditure, budgeting and financial performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of property and asset management experience across diverse portfolios.
• Experience establishing or transforming an asset management function.
• Strong commercial acumen in leasing, budgeting and capital planning.
• Proven ability to implement governance, reporting standards and processes.
• Demonstrated leadership with internal teams and external providers.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the national asset management function with governance, reporting and operating frameworks.
• Drive portfolio performance, income growth, asset optimisation and long-term value creation.
• Develop asset management strategy with the CEO, Directors and executive team.
• Oversee leasing, tenant mix, capex, budgeting and financial performance.
• Lead and develop internal teams and external service providers across locations.
• Implement consistent performance measurement, reporting and accountability processes.
• Manage relationships with financial institutions, valuers, councils and stakeholders.
• Contribute to acquisitions, developments and broader investment decisions.
• Travel interstate to oversee assets and local teams.
