Job summary

Gough Recruitment QLD is representing a well-established private property investor in Queensland seeking an experienced Portfolio Operations Manager to oversee operations, facilities management and compliance across a high-profile retail portfolio.

You will lead day-to-day management, supervise capital works, manage budgets, and drive WHS and sustainability while collaborating with internal property, leasing and asset management teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Operations or Facilities Management within retail/shopping centres or commercial properties.
• Strong contractor management, maintenance programs and budgeting experience.
• Excellent knowledge of WHS, compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facilities and operational management across a Queensland retail property portfolio.
• Lead preventative maintenance programs, repairs and contractor performance.
• Coordinate capital works projects and asset lifecycle planning.
• Manage operational budgets and monitor expenditure.
• Drive compliance across WHS, fire safety, statutory obligations and risk management.
• Lead sustainability initiatives and environmental projects.
• Oversee tenancy coordination and retailer fit-outs to centre standards.
• Maintain contractor management systems and asset registers.
• Build relationships with retailers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
