Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is seeking a National Air Freight Perishable BDM to drive new business and nurture existing customers from our Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane offices. You will design strategic sales plans, grow the perishable pipeline, and work with operations to deliver engineered, commercially attractive solutions.

With 5 years in a similar role and outstanding communication, you will lead negotiations and shape terms that align with targets and maintain Hellmann's high standards

• Collaborate with operations to design commercially attractive solutions.
• Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor account performance and assist management as needed.

Your New Role

We are looking for a dedicated, energetic and experienced National Air Freight Perishable BDM to join our team on a full time basis located in our Melbourne or Sydney or Brisbane office.

Bring your flexible, Can-Do attitude to work every day and enjoy being part of an amazing team. As well as having experience in a similar role, some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• To obtain new customers and maintain existing customers
• Always present yourself as an ambassador of Hellmann, ensuring that the companies standards, principles and reputation is always maintained to the highest level
• Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base within target perishable verticals and ensures its strong presence
• Achieve growth and profitability targets in line with pre agreed annual targets
• Grow perishable pipeline by prospecting, identifying and evaluating new opportunities.
• Remain current in market trends, technology, and best practices to ensure relevance when engaging with prospective customer’s
• Develop strong relationships with key target customers across the decision-making matrix
• Working with the operational and solutions team, develop operationally, commercially attractive solutions that exceed customer expectations
• Confidently understand, present and explain engineered solutions in order to close the business
• Take the lead in contract negotiations in order to achieve a mutually beneficial contractual term
• Remain aware of the operational / commercial performance of implemented business and assist of requested by Country / Regional management in account management

Customer service is crucial in this role which means you will need to exercise a level of professionalism and understanding when it comes to customer needs.
