Job summary

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics in Sydney is seeking a dedicated Head of QHSE to lead safety, quality and environmental initiatives across our offices and warehouses. You will develop and implement QHSE systems, drive a positive safety culture, and support managers and operations teams to ensure compliance and excellence.

The role requires 5 years in a similar role, strong HSE knowledge, excellent communication, and a professional presentation.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a similar QHSE role within the logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of HSE systems, policies and legislative requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead QHSE activities across multiple offices and warehouse.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve QHSE systems, policies and procedures.
• Drive a positive safety culture across internal teams and contractor organisations.
• Conduct site audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Provide support and guidance to Managers and operations teams.
• Monitor activities from a safety, risk and quality perspective.
• Identify safety risks, quality concerns and compliance issues, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
• Review project documentation, incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Support teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, compliantly and to a high standard.

Your New Role

We are looking for a dedicated, energetic and experienced Head of QHSE to join our team on a full-time basis located in our Sydney office.

• Lead QHSE activities across multiple offices and warehouse.

• 5 Years Experience in similar role within the industry
• Strong understanding of HSE systems, policies and legislative requirements.
• Amazing communication skills, both written and verbal
• High attention to details
• Your professional presentation and communication skills, along with true passion for providing exceptional customer experiences will play a major role in achieving success, both professionally and personally.
