seek.com.au is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow relationships with Australia's leading retail and hospitality groups. Based in Melbourne or Sydney, you’ll turn a strong foundation into long-term national accounts with cross-functional support from an experienced team.

You’ll engage from first conversation through specification, nomination and commercial negotiation, guiding programs from concept to rollout and shaping channel strategy alongside senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in business development, key accounts or national account management.
• Experience in national retail, hospitality or store rollout programmes.
• Existing network in retail or hospitality development.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with national retail and hospitality groups.
• Collaborate with Store Development, Property, Procurement, Design and Visual Merchandising.
• Identify and win work on new stores, refurbishments, upgrades and national rollouts.
• Work with designers and consultants on store concepts and specifications.
• Guide programmes from concept and specification through value engineering and supplier status to rollout.
• Set programme pricing and account strategies that work for both sides.
• Build a strong pipeline of new national accounts.
• Coordinate with product, operations, logistics and commercial teams to deliver on promises.
• Share market insights and challenge strategy when needed.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships, not just one-off sales.
