Job summary

Winable Recruitment is seeking an experienced laboratory operations leader to manage three laboratories in Sydney and supervise two Laboratory Supervisors, ensuring strict NATA compliance and high-quality testing across activities.

You will oversee OH&S, implement quality programs, and coordinate training for lab and field technicians, with travel between sites as required to support client needs and timelines. The role emphasizes efficiency, accreditation maintenance, and mentoring the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience managing a NATA-accredited laboratory
• Solid experience in concrete and aggregate testing
• Certificate IV in Laboratory Management (or working towards)
• NATA signatory status
• Excellent communication and assertiveness
• Experience in chemical testing is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of three laboratories and supervise staff including two direct-report Laboratory Supervisors
• Implement and monitor OH&S policies and ensure compliance with NATA and Quality Accreditation requirements
• Establish and maintain quality control testing programs and issue accredited test certificates
• Plan and manage testing operations, coordinate training for laboratory and field technicians
• Contribute to business growth through customer relationships and travel between sites as required
