Job summary

Boral in Baulkham Hills, NSW, seeks a Senior Laboratory Technician to join the Concrete & Quarries Laboratory team. You will sample, prepare tests, perform testing to AS standards, and report results to support operations and customers.

Reporting to the Section Head and Laboratory Manager, you will maintain QA records, calibrate equipment, assist with NATA accreditation, and contribute to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with concrete testing and AS 1012 methods.
• Desirable tertiary qualification in science or engineering.
• Proficient with lab records and quality management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of quarry and recycled materials per AS methods.
• Prepare and analyse test samples and report results.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Maintain laboratory records and QA documentation.
• Support NATA accreditation standards and compliance.
• Uphold safety practices and assist with other duties.
