Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Business Development Manager based in Mascot, NSW to grow revenue from Power Distribution Products and Solutions in New South Wales, focusing on Low Voltage and Medium Voltage switchgear.

You will maintain key customer accounts, engage clients through meetings and calls, and provide technical support, solution selling, and market development across rail, infrastructure, data centres and renewables. A strong communication skillset and electrical trade qualification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years local sales experience in the medium voltage industrial industry.
• Strong knowledge of medium voltage switchgear is desirable.
• Excellent verbal communication and ability to relate to people at all levels.
• Trade qualification as electrician or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow customer accounts in the NSW region.
• Engage customers through face-to-face meetings and regular calls to identify opportunities.
• Provide technical support, solution selling, product launch/promotion presentations and lead a technology mindset.
• Communicate to customers on technical features and business benefits of a proposed solution.
• Sell into markets such as rail, infrastructure, data centres and renewables.
• Coordinate trade show participation and write technical articles.
• Quote against tender specifications and provide regular feedback on competitor activity.
• Provide first level technical support on MV switchgear products.
• Provide value creation and differentiation to customers where needed.
