Shred-X in Idalia, Townsville, is seeking an HR Driver to join our national team. This role suits someone who is reliable, hands-on and thrives on active, physical work while delivering secure destruction services.

You will drive company-branded HR trucks, collect and deliver bins up to 100kg, use a PDA to record tasks, and uphold WHS standards. We value safety, service, and a strong team ethic.

Qualificações

• Valid HR/Heavy Riged truck licence with clean driving history.
• Experience in physical driving or delivery roles.
• Strong safety and manual handling skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to use handheld devices (PDA) to record tasks.

Responsabilidades

What You’ll Do

• Drive a company-branded HR truck to deliver and collect secure destruction bins and materials.
• Service a diverse client base across various industries, including handling e-waste, archive boxes, textiles, and pallets.
• Safely manage bins weighing up to 100kg – an ideal role for someone who enjoys physical work.
• Use a PDA device to accurately record collections and service tasks.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness.
• Represent Shred-X professionally on-site, ensuring top-tier customer interaction.
• Follow all company policies, WHS standards, chain of responsibility, and client-specific procedures.

What You Bring

• A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) truck license with a clean driving history.
• Previous experience in a physical driving role (e.g. freight or removalist-style work).
• Safe manual handling skills and physical fitness.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Comfortable with using handheld devices (PDA or similar tech).
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
