Job summary

Shred-X is seeking an MR Driver at its Wetherill Park, NSW location. The role involves delivering and collecting secure destruction bins and materials, handling diverse client needs, and maintaining high safety and service standards.

You'll operate a company MR truck, use a PDA for records, perform vehicle checks, and represent the company with professionalism. Weekend-free, Monday–Friday work week, with time-and-a-half on overtime and quarterly KPI bonus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid MR truck licence with a clean driving history.
• Experience in a physical driving role (courier/removalist-style) is preferred.
• Safe manual handling skills and good fitness are required.
• Reliable, punctual and a team player who can work independently.
• Strong communication and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-branded MR truck to deliver and collect secure destruction bins and materials.
• Service a diverse client base across industries including e-waste, archives, textiles and pallets.
• Safely manage bins up to 100 kg and perform daily vehicle checks.
• Record collections and tasks accurately using a PDA.
• Represent Shred-X professionally on-site with top-tier customer interaction.
• Follow WHS standards and client-specific procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Drive a company-branded MR truck to deliver and collect secure destruction bins and materials.
• Service a diverse client base across various industries, including handling e-waste, archive boxes, textiles, and pallets.
• Safely manage bins weighing up to 100kg – an ideal role for someone who enjoys physical work.
• Use a PDA device to accurately record collections and service tasks.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness.
• Represent Shred-X professionally on-site, ensuring top-tier customer interaction.
• Follow all company policies, WHS standards, chain of responsibility, and client-specific procedures.

What You Bring

• A valid Medium Rigid (MR) truck license with a clean driving history.
• Previous experience in a physical driving role (e.g. courier or removalist-style work).
• Safe manual handling skills and physical fitness.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Comfortable with using handheld devices (PDA or similar tech).
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
