Job summary

Shred-X on the Gold Coast is seeking a reliable MR Driver to join our national team delivering secure destruction and recycling services. This Full-Time role is based in Sandy Creek and offers steady hours while you stay active and engage with a diverse client base.

You will drive a company-branded MR truck, collect secure destruction bins up to 100 kg, record tasks with a PDA, perform daily vehicle checks, and uphold WHS standards.

Qualifications

• MR license with clean driving history required.
• Previous physical driving experience preferred.
• Safe manual handling skills and fitness.
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused mindset.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable using handheld PDA or similar tech.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-branded MR truck to deliver and collect secure destruction bins.
• Service diverse clients across industries and manage heavy bins up to 100 kg.
• Record collections and tasks using a PDA device accurately.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain roadworthiness and cleanliness.
• Represent Shred-X professionally with on-site customer interactions.
• Follow WHS standards, chain of responsibility and client procedures.

We're seeking a motivated team member who thrives on independence, takes pride in their work, and plays a key role in delivering top-tier customer service.

What You’ll Do

• Drive a company-branded MR truck to deliver and collect secure destruction bins and materials.
• Service a diverse client base across various industries, including handling e-waste, archive boxes, textiles, and pallets.
• Safely manage bins weighing up to 100kg - an ideal role for someone who enjoys physical work.
• Use a PDA device to accurately record collections and service tasks.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness.
• Represent Shred-X professionally on-site, ensuring top-tier customer interaction.
• Follow all company policies, WHS standards, chain of responsibility, and client-specific procedures.

What You Bring

• A valid Medium Rigid (MR) truck license with a clean driving history.
• Previous experience in a physical driving role (e.g. freight or removalist-style work).
• Safe manual handling skills and physical fitness.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Comfortable with using handheld devices (PDA or similar tech).
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
