Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a Multi Skilled Operator (critical load unit) for a coal mine near Dysart, Queensland. You will safely operate Production Excavators, D10/11 Dozer, Graders, loaders and trucks in the Prestrip Department.

The role features a 12.75 hour, Thursday-to-Wednesday roster with a mix of day and night shifts. Opportunities available for BIBO, DIDO and residential candidates with immediate start.

Qualifications

• Coal mining experience as a Critical load unit operator.
• Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or willing to attain.
• SSE signed skills list, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Operate Production Excavators, D10/11 Dozer, Graders, loaders and trucks safely.
• Work in Prestrip Department as a Critical load unit operator.
• Rotating 12.75 hour day/night shifts on a Thursday to Wednesday roster.

About Our Client

Our client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. They operate seven Bowen Basin mine sites with roles available across the operations with local, DIDO and BIBO opportunities available.

What you will be Doing

• You will be working as a Critical load unit operator within the Prestrip Department on a coal mine near Dysart.
• You will be required to safety operate Production Excavators, D10/11 Dozer, Graders, loaders & Truck.
• You will be working 12.75 hour shifts on a Thursday to Wednesday (7/7) roster rotating day and night shift roster.
• These roles are open to BIBO, DIDO and residential candidates.

What you will need

• Previous coal mining experience as a Critical load unit operator - Production Excavators, Dozer, Loader, Grader & Dump Truck.
• You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
• SSE signed skills list, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
