Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking a Trainer Accessor / Multi-Skilled Operator for a coal mine in Moranbah region, QLD. You will operate Dump Trucks, Dozers, Graders and Water Carts, plus provide on-site training and access for trainees.

The role requires 3+ years in heavy equipment operation and training, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, current Standard 11/Coal Board Medical, SSE skills list, and a valid Australian licence. DIDO or residential options are available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience operating and trainingDump Trucks 793/797/T282 and Dozers D10, D11, Watercarts 785 or Graders 16m/24m.
• Current Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 5 years or willing to attain this.
• SSE Signed skills list within 5 years.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of mining equipment including Dump Trucks, Dozers, Graders and Water Carts on the Pre-Strip Department.
• Provide on-site training and access to on-site operations.
• Maintain safety and compliance on a coal mine site.
• Rostered 7:7 Day/Night, 12.75-hour shifts Thurs-Wed.

Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin with local, DIDO and BIBO opportunities available.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

You will be working as a Trainer Accessor / Multi-Skilled Operator within the Pre-Strip Department on a Coal Mine in the Moranbah region. You will be operating a variety of machinery such as Dump Trucks, Dozers, Graders and Water Carts as well as Training and Accessing on site. You must be experienced and skilled on Dump Trucks and 2 other skills mentioned. You will be working a 7:7 Day/Night shift roster, 12.75hr shifts running Thurs-Wed. These roles are available to DIDO or residential candidates BIBO services from Mackay or Rockhampton.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Minimum 3yrs experience Operating and Training Dump Trucks 793/797/T282 and Dozers D10, D11, Watercarts 785 or Graders 16m, 24m.


• Current Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 5 years or be willing to attain this.
