Job summary

WBS INVESTMENT (VIC) PTY LTD (WESTWOOD AUTOMOTIVE) in Ravenhall, VIC is seeking a qualified Motor Mechanic for a full-time role. You will detect faults, dismantle faulty parts, and perform repairs to a range of vehicle components while carrying out scheduled maintenance.

The position offers a base salary of 79,435 AUD per year, with the required trade certification and at least 1 year of automotive experience. Strong customer & management communication will be essential to success.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or qualification in mechanical trade.
• At least 1 year of work experience in the mechanical/automotive industry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and management.

Responsibilities

• Detect faults in vehicles and diagnose them.
• Dismantle and remove faulty parts.
• Replace and repair defective parts.
• Perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Repair and replace transmissions, steering, braking systems and other parts.
• Carry out repairs in accordance with job sheets and manufacturers specifications.
