Job summary

Auto & General is seeking a Motor Claims Technical Assurance Team Leader to guide the Technical Assurance Team and oversee the QA program for Motor Claims & Assessing. You will manage day‑to‑day operations and drive coaching to align with standards.

You will lead QA activities, monitor KPIs, and build stakeholder relationships while delivering improvements across the claims value chain. The role demands regulatory awareness and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead, performance manage, coach and mentor a team.
• Experience in Quality Assurance or Process improvement.
• Proven experience in Stakeholder Engagement.
• Strong written communication, including report writing.
• Understanding of the Claims Value Chain in insurance.
• Understanding of General Insurance regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and performance manage the team to deliver high‑quality assurance outcomes.
• Set clear expectations, monitor performance and support development and career growth.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, safety, wellness and workplace standards.
• Plan and coordinate team activities to meet service levels and commitments.
• Monitor performance against KPIs, providing insights and driving continuous improvement.
• Contribute to targeted assurance reviews and stakeholder reporting.
• Provide technical guidance on claims processes, systems and compliance.
• Maintain accurate reporting and documentation and undertake additional duties as required.
