Auto & General is seeking a Motor Claims Settlements Manager to lead and develop high-performing teams in the North Lakes Settlements Department. You will coach staff to deliver efficient and compliant settlements that support business strategy and customer outcomes.

You will drive negotiation strategies, identify cost savings, and manage regulatory obligations while building strong internal relationships and promoting a culture of integrity and performance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading performance management, coaching, and staff development.
• Experience ensuring adherence to GICOP and regulatory obligations.
• Strong analytical skills with data reporting and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Settlements Department to deliver optimal settlement outcomes.
• Coach teams to improve performance and remove barriers to success.
• Develop and implement negotiation strategies for third-party motor claims.
• Identify cost savings and process efficiencies in the settlements function.
