Job summary

Commodore Motel Mildura is seeking a friendly and professional Motel Receptionist to join our Front Office team in Mildura, VIC. This casual role covers reception duties, guest inquiries, bookings and payments.

You will be the first point of contact, delivering excellent service, maintaining reception area, and coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous reception, hospitality or customer service experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests upon arrival and processing check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously.
• Handling guest inquiries and providing information about motel facilities, local attractions and services.
• Managing room bookings, reservations and cancellations using our booking system.
• Processing payments and managing cash, card and other payment methods accurately.
• Answering incoming calls and directing them appropriately or taking messages.
• Addressing guest concerns and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the reception area.
• Performing general administrative tasks such as filing and data entry.
• Communicating with housekeeping and maintenance staff regarding room status and repairs.
• Following all motel policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
