Job summary

MSA National is seeking Mortgage Paralegals & Assistants to manage commercial and residential mortgage files end-to-end in a fast-paced, highly automated environment. You will leverage our proprietary tools to move files quickly and accurately from instruction through settlement.

The role suits someone with at least 12 months of end-to-end mortgage support or conveyancing experience, strong English communication, and a calm, methodical approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in end-to-end Mortgage Support or Conveyancing in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strict SLAs.
• Confidence navigating digital platforms and workflow systems — you adapt quickly!
• Exceptional English communication skills and a collaborative, professional attitude
• Strong organisational and time management skills with a consistent record of meeting deadlines
• Sharp attention to detail
• A calm, methodical approach under pressure
• A desire to work in office full-time with your team

Responsibilities

• Review new instructions and supporting documentation
• Prepare Letters of Offer and Loan Documentation
• Check mortgage documentation for accuracy prior to issuance
• Review and check executed mortgage documentation
• Conduct online searches
• Liaise with Mortgage Brokers, Borrowers, Solicitors, and major Australian banks
• Manage disbursements and certify files
• Oversee both attended and PEXA settlements
• General file management and administration duties

You'll manage your own portfolio of commercial & residential mortgage files end-to-end, with genuine autonomy and the support of best-in-class systems. MSA National is "A Place to Grow".

Your Key Responsibilities

• Review new instructions and supporting documentation;

Who We're Looking For

You'll hit the ground running if your background includes any of the following:

• Mortgage settlements — the documentation, the process, the pace & PEXA
• Hands-on work at either a bank or mortgage broker firm — you've been across end-to-end doc prep and settlements, not just admin support
• High-volume conveyancing — you understand property transactions at scale and can apply that process knowledge directly
• Empathetic Client Service — you understand the pressures brokers and borrowers face, and you bring patience and genuine care to every interaction

To Succeed, You Will Need
