Sapio, an Australian electronic security business, is seeking a Monitoring Operator to join our team in Sydney. You will handle alarms, enquiries and incidents, stay calm under pressure, and help deliver exceptional service while supporting a high-performing group.

Key responsibilities include processing alarms in line with AS 2201 standards, communicating clearly with clients, prioritising tasks to meet SLAs, and maintaining accurate records.

Competenze

• Experience in customer service, call centre or customer care roles.
• Exposure to a monitoring centre environment is desirable.
• Security Licence Class E or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication skills and professional phone manner.
• High attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Key responsibilities

Process alarms, enquiries and incidents in line with AS 2201 standards

Communicate clearly with clients to manage and reduce actionable events

Contribute to team performance and service targets

The successful candidate will also have

Experience in customer service, call centre or customer care roles

Exposure to a monitoring centre environment (desirable)

Security industry knowledge or alarm systems experience (advantageous)

Security Licence Class E (or willingness to obtain)

Strong communication skills and a professional phone manner

High attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure

Solid computer skills and accuracy in data entry
