Job summary

Anchor Homes in Melbourne’s Bayswater area seeks a New Home Sales Consultant to join our team. You will handle inbound inquiries, qualify opportunities, and guide clients from needs to pre-construction agreement without cold calling.

You’ll work with our in-house design and estimating teams to develop proposals and present pricing for bespoke or pre-designed homes. Based at our Bayswater display homes and sales office, you’ll join a small, motivated team and benefit from warm inbound leads,

Qualifications

• Proven track record of following a structured sales process.
• Polished verbal and written communication skills for presenting to clients.
• Adaptable consultative approach for first-home buyers and bespoke homes.
• Working understanding of residential construction and cost drivers.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inbound enquiries and display visitors, delivering a professional and welcoming first impression.
• Qualify opportunities early using our structured qualification process, ensuring good fit for client and Anchor Homes.
• Understand client requirements, site conditions, budget and expectations; develop a matching solution.
• Collaborate with estimating and design teams to develop proposals; present designs, specs and pricing.
• Take ownership of the sales process, maintain momentum and work toward securing the sale.
• Facilitate internal handover to pre-construction team when a client proceeds.
• Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline in HubSpot.
• Communicate benefits of modular construction as a quality-focused, efficient building method.
