Job summary

Anchor Homes is seeking a Head of Pre-Construction to lead the end-to-end pre-construction phase for modular homes in Victoria and NSW. You will own the process from client agreement to handover, directing the Pre-Construction Managers, Design Team Leader, estimators, planners and coordinators.

You’ll drive contract signings, forecast financials, and push projects forward with solid design and value engineering.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a residential pre-construction, design or contracts team.
• Strong technical building knowledge and ability to read and challenge a full drawing set.
• Knowledge of the NCC, domestic building contracts and council planning in Victoria and NSW.
• Modular or prefab experience, or a building qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the monthly contract signing target and own the weekly forecast.
• Know every live project in detail and move stalled projects forward.
• Lead design through the Design Team Leader and manage budget to margin.
• Oversee planning, building approvals and contract drafting.
• Coach and develop the team to draft and close their own contracts.
• Ensure exceptional client care from initial agreement to handover.
• Typically run around six of the most complex projects in the pipeline.
