Job summary

Anchor Homes in Victoria is seeking a New Home Sales Consultant to join the Stratford display and Gippsland head office. You’ll respond to inbound inquiries, qualify opportunities, and guide clients from needs assessment to pre-construction agreement, collaborating with estimating and design to present proposals and pricing.

You’ll work with a five-person sales team, focusing on building bespoke residential projects for clients investing $500k–$1m+, with a Monday–Friday Stratford office base.

Qualifications

• Sales discipline: follow a process, meet commitments and maintain accurate records.
• Polished verbal and written communication, with the confidence to present and discuss complex information.
• Adaptability with a consultative approach for first-home buyers, downsizers and bespoke homes.
• Working understanding of residential construction, home design and cost drivers.
• Ability to ask tough questions, address concerns early and discuss budget honestly.
• Active listening to understand what matters to each client.
• Open to feedback and willingness to continually develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inbound enquiries and visitors, delivering a professional first impression.
• Qualify opportunities early using our structured process and ensure a good fit for client and Anchor Homes.
• Understand client requirements, site conditions, budget and expectations; craft a suitable solution.
• Collaborate with estimating and design teams to develop proposals and confidently present designs and pricing.
• Take ownership of the sales process, maintain momentum, manage client expectations and aim to secure the sale.
• Facilitate a thorough handover to the pre-construction team when a client proceeds.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline in HubSpot.
• Communicate the benefits of modular construction as a quality, efficient building method.
