Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking a junior/mid-level professional to drive mobility innovation and ITS/tolling support. The role blends self-led technical work with cross-team collaboration, using AI-augmented methods across projects and secondments.

Travel domestically and internationally may be required, including potential 2–6 month assignments in other territories. You will report to the ITS Lead or Head of CoE, contributing to business cases, resource coordination, and knowledge sharing within Ferrovial

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or equivalent quantitative/technical discipline.
• 4+ years in an innovation, digital, technology, AI, or data-focused role within a corporate or consulting environment.
• 2+ years working directly with transport technologies and infrastructure — e.g., C-ITS, tolling systems, traffic management.
• Fluent in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Copilot).
• Excellent English required; professional Spanish highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with BU teams to identify innovation opportunities, co-develop initiatives, and support operational adoption.
• Represent CoE4M in workshops, project briefings, and stakeholder outreach, translating BU needs into requirements.
• Coordinate with wider Ferrovial Innovation team to align initiatives and cross-pollinate findings across business lines.
• Brief stakeholders on initiative status/outcomes as needed; represent Ferrovial at external industry events and forums.
• Run hands-on data analysis, technology assessments, and prototypes end-to-end, from concept to proof-of-value.
